Eclipse victory

Caradon ratepayers have been left to foot a bill running into thousands after magistrates sitting at the South East Cornwall Magistrates Courts in Liskeard on Wednesday, granted an appeal by the organisers of the Sunshadow eclipse festival at Gormain Farm, St Cleer.

There was a gasp when the Bench awarded the organisers costs totalling £14,850, which Caradon Council will have to pay.
