Eclipse day could be the day to catch Bodmin Beast
The strange conditions surrounding the full eclipse of the sun could lead to the Beast of Bodmin being finally spotted in the flesh, experts believe.
Big cats tend to feed at dusk or in the early hours of the morning - and the total eclipse will reproduce these conditions.
Plus the fact that there will be more people than ever on the moors, many with cameras could mean that someone will snap the beast as it nips out for a snack.
John Palmer, who runs Porfell Animal land, says that many animals behave strangely during an eclipse - believing that night has arrived. He is anxiously awaiting to see the effect on his own animals.
