A PRESENTATION to Torpoint St John Ambulance was interrupted by a real-life drama on Friday evening. The adult members had visited the Wheeler's Pub to receive £100 from the 1730 Club. Just as the presentation started, a member of the public came in to ask for help as a pedestrian had been knocked down in Fore Street. All of the uniformed St John members immediately went out to offer assistance. A paramedic and ambulance were soon on the scene and the presentation was able to go ahead.
