A DOCTOR from Liskeard will be putting her fitness to the test when she takes part in the London Marathon next month. Laura Walters, a former Liskeard School and Community College pupil, will be putting on her running shoes for the event, which takes place on Sunday, April 13. She is raising money for the Rural Housing Trust, a charity which provides housing for local people in small villages in England. Laura used to be a member of the East Cornwall Harriers, and ran in the Paris Marathon last year, raising £800 for St Luke's Hospice.
