Dave and Doreen England were joined by almost 90 friends and family at Torpoint’s Mosquito Sailing Club as they marked their 60th anniversary.

Dave and Dor, as she is known, have lived in Torpoint for 56 years and both are retired school teachers who taught at local schools and involved themselves fully in community life.

The couple raised their sons, Simon and Paul, in the town, and have six grandchildren, all of whom are now adults.
