More than 30 Marie Curie volunteers have been doing stints at a Bodmin supermarket this week as the charity carries out its 2020 daffodil appeal.

The money raised from the Great Daffodil Appeal will help Marie Curie Nurses in Cornwall provide much-needed expert care to people with terminal illnesses, as well as support for their loved ones.

The average two hour collection shift raises £75 - enough to pay for nearly four hours of vital nursing care for someone living with a terminal illness, in the comfort of their own home.
