An action-packed day of discovery on Polzeath beach on Thursday, June 2, will see Cornwall Wildlife Trust joined by all of Cornwall’s marine conservation groups to celebrate Cornwall’s seas.

Visitors can browse interesting stalls set up on the beach, learn fun facts about our marine life, create beach sculptures, go on a rock pool ramble, help create a marine-themed animated film, and much more.

The RNLI and Polzeath Surf Lifesaving Club will give a rescue demonstration.

Organisations participating are Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Polzeath Marine Conservation Group, Cornwall Seal Group, National Trust, The Shark Trust, Surfers Against Sewage, The RNLI beach lifeguards, Polzeath Surf Life Saving Club, National Lobster Hatchery and the Marine Conservation Society.

It runs from 10am to 4pm and is free, with no booking required.
