The 'Ringers' maintained their mid-table position with a narrow 5-4 win over Trot B. After losing the opening game, they won the next four games through Keith Lillyman, Bill Allen, Mike Mountford and landlord Bryn Jones.

The Trot responded by taking the next three games and levelled the match. The deciding match was won by the home side's promising youngster, Adam Finch.
