League leaders Rodney A visited Ploughboy and kept their lead at the top with an 8-2 victory. Rodney led 2-1 after the team games and then took six singles through John Cook, Paul Ferris, Mike and John Fluhrer and John and Dave Callaghan. Ploughboy took just one when Peter Holland beat Norman Yarde 2-0.

Second place SWMC B kept up their challenge playing host to the useful Rising Sun side. WMC took the team games 2-1 and then six singles through Dave Fairall, Dennis Briggs, Albert Harris, Alan Arthur, Ted Maton and Darren Ware. Rising took just one through Paul Henderson and went down 8-2.
