The second half of the season, also the first matches of the new century saw present league champions Rodney B visiting Notter Bridge and so receive a shock losing 6-4. Notter led 2-1 after the team games, they then took four singles through Gary Rhodes, Robbie Edge, Mike Wormall and Terry Brett. Rodney took three through DEs Bunney, Brian Gray and Steve Collins.

Brunel Lads had Coryton Arms as their visitors. Coryton took all three team games and the four singles through Lindsay Nicholls, Brian Hoskins and Jane and Phil Kinsman. Brunel took three through Wendy Tennant, Phil Lopez and Jamie Elliott to go down 7-3. The highlight of the evening was 180 x 2 by Jane Kinsman.

League leaders Rodney A kept up their good form beating Tideford RBL 9-1.

Another team starting the second well were Callington CC, they beat Rising Sun 8-2.
