In a week where there were no shocks, not even a close result things stayed much the same. There was a hiccup however at the Noughts as Jerry Jago dropped his first leg of the season to the Millhouse's John Yaxley. But this did not stop the Noughts winning 8-1 with Alan Moreton, Cess Pethick, Jon Perry, Andy Grant and Andy Bryant all joining Jago in the winners column. The Millhouses only point came from John Lawrence and John Gregory in the doubles.

Pelynt B kept their slender three point lead intact with an 8-1 win over the Ship A. Pelynt also won all six singles through Martin Dunn, Rat Tamblyn, Baz Phillips, Max Facey, Stuart Gray and Nigel Davis winning the last doubles to save the Ship from their first whitewash of the season.

A good away win at the Legion kept the Rowett A in touch with the leaders. However things did not start well as Kevin Lee lost to Bob Whitewood but the Rowett then won the next five singles with Mark Lewis, Tracey Hocking, Malcome Libby, Lee Bryant and Jason Mark all victors. Two of the doubles also went the Rowett's way for a good 7-2 win.

Rowett B moved a point closer to their stablemates as they won 8-1 at home to the Blue Peter. The Rowett won five of the singles with wins from Dave Nutty, Dennis Shaw, Derwin Thomas, Malcome Taper and Mike Pengelly. Terry Bicknell picked up the Blues only point when he defeated Antony Joslin over the distance.

The best win of the week went to Pelynt A who beat the lowly Ship B 9-0. Joan Geach won the battle of the leagues best two players when she defeated Betty Turner 2-1 in the opening game that started the rot for the Ship as Pelynts John Geach, Matt Johns, Mark Palmer (his first win of the season), Dean Haynes and John Snowdon all won and with all three doubles their third straight win and there best win of the season.
