Darts- Packed Community Centre for darts presentation

Lostwithiel Darts League held its presentation night on Friday last in a packed community centre. Over 40 trophies were handed out to team winners, individuals, pairs, triples and those scoring the most tons in the various divisions.

Handing out the awards were Bill Chamberlain and Ellie Stoyan of the Cornwall Air Ambulance, who received a cheque for £200 raised during a special competition and from a bucket doing the rounds on the night. Mr Chamberlain thanked the assembled dart players and said it is contributions from groups such as theirs which keeps the ambulance flying.

Paul Sweet, league secretary, was MC whilst brother Martin helped organise the trophies for presentation.

Main recipients included Division One winners, Bridges Worthys of Luxulyan; Division Two winners Crown Inn, Lanlivery with the Social Wanderers under the captaincy of Avril Hunter taking the Ladies Division Trophy.
