Division One

Following their first defeat the previous week, Division One leaders Kings Arms got back to winning ways by beating Social Club 11-0 away. A clean sweep of all games was achieved thanks to Clive Libby (who hit a 120 finish) Robert Odgers, Denis Odgers, Mark Tancock, Nathan Libby (who had a 108 finish in the triples) and Ian Clarke.

Bridges Worthys remain in second place following their 9-2 away victory over Lanivet Inn. Worthys' singles winners were Steve Bray, Andy Bray, Andy Daniell and Tony Cheeseman whilst Paul Opie and Rob Williams won for Lanivet.

Another team to have an 11-0 victory was Con Club B who beat bottom of the table Royal Talbot. Con Club's clean sheet was achieved by Pete Ashwin (who hit a 180 and had a 149 finish) Brendan Ashwin (who hit a 180) John Stephens, Ray Clack, Des Roberts and Kevin Stephens.

Globe Nomads kept up their unbeaten run with a 7-4 home victory over Monmouth A. Nomads' winners were Alex Newns, Nigel Carne, Colin Dyer and Jamie Croft whilst Paul Dutton and John Peareth won for Monmouth.

Bridges B secured their third win of the season with a narrow 6-5 victory over Crown Inn A. Bridges singles winners were Kenny Saundry (who hit a 112 finish), Toddy Revels, Neil Hooper and Nick Bennett, whilst Steve Rosevear and marcus Vincent won for Crown.

Russell Inn won their third match of the season with a 7-4 away victory at Royal Oak. Russells singles winners were Mike Dawson (who had a 156 finish in the doubles), Willie Taylor, Steve Edmonds and Paul Kirk with Tom Foot and Daave Maclellan winning for Oak.

Division Two

Pencaran A move to the top of Division Two with two excellent results in the space of four days. First they beat leaders Lugger Inn 10-1 at home with wins for Andy Beer, Peter Catlin, Sid Merchant (who hit a 180), Barney Chapman and Brian Read. Gary Beresford was Lugger's only winner beating Bill Haley.

Then in a re-arranged match on Monday night, they beat Globe Trotters 11-0 away with the clean sweep achieved by Brian Read, Sid Merchant, Roger Beer, Bill Haley, Peter Catlin and Andy Beer. Monmouth B moved up to second place with an 8-3 home victory over Globe Ramblers. Monmouth's winners were Mark Ladyman, Fred Brown, Mathew Wilton and Phil Townsend with Peter Monk and Kenny Cook winning for Ramblers.

Earl of Chatham A remain in fourth place following their 7-4 away win at Crown Inn B. Chatham's winners were Tom Harvey, Carol Harvey, Ian Harvey and J McIntosh with Lee Newson and Clare Newson winning for Crown.

Con Club Originals moved up to fifth place with a narrow 6-5 victory at Globe Trotters. Con Club's winners were Peter Wilton, Ken Harris and Martin Sands whilst Trotters' winners were Tom Collings, Kevin Kitt and Martin Skews.

Earl of Chatham C won their fourth match of the season by beating Pencaran B 7-4. Chatham's winners were Bobby Wilton, Ian Watson and Maxi Ashton whilst Pencaran's winners were Tim Boden, Marie Yeo and Caroline Merchant.

Ladies League

Social Wanderers moved back to the top of Ladies Division league with a 10-1 away victory over Earl of Chatham. Wanderers' singles winners were Val Look, Marie Stephens, Carol Harvey, Avril Hunter and Tina Dunlop whilst Chatham's only winner was Jean Man who beat Joyce Hosken.

Express Fives won their fourth match of the season with a narrow 6-5 victory over Royal Oak. Express winners were Georgina Rule, Edweana Treleaven and Jean Ashton whilst Oak's winners were Mark Lee, Helen King and Jeannie Mann.

Monmouth Hotel won their second match of the season with a narrow 6-5 away victory over Globe Inn. Monmouth's winners were Lucy Thompson, Jo Bonney and Shirley Nicholls with Lynda Soady, Michelle Skews and Pam Micklethwaite winning for Globe.
