Globe A played their last game of the season and by beating Tom Sawyers 5-2 they stay top and clear by seven points, therefore putting all the pressure on last seasons champions Portbyhan B who after beating Salutation A 7-0 can now join Globe as joint champions by beating Bar One next week by 7-0.
Anything less and then will have to settle for runners-up. Salutation B stay in third after a fine 6-1 home win over Portbyhan A. Bar One with their second game of the season by upturning Globe B 4-3 away from home.
Would all team captains please remember that all outstanding games must be played by Tuesday 28th March and cards are to returned to Bradleys Estate Agents no later than the following Friday. Cards not received or games not played by then - points will be awarded using the average rule.

Singles, Doubles and Trebles Knock-Out Competitions
Tuesday League, 11th April 2000 - Singles competition at Portbyhan, Doubles competition at Globe, Trebles competition at Tom Sawyers.
All rounds, with the exception of the finals, of these competitions will take place on the above date at the venues listed.
Players must register at the appropriate pub by 8.15 pm on the night. Games will start at 8.30 pm prompt. If you are not present when your game is due on then you will be disqualified.
