After being defeated in the last two matches Police Club hit back in a big way when they won 7-0 at the Market. Leaders Highwayman 'B' were 5-2 winners at White Hart 'B' and had suzanne Jones registering a 180.

Also winning 5-2 were Highwayman 'A' who were playing their 'C' team while the biggest winners from Dobwalls were Highwayman 'D who were 6-1 winners at home to the Cheesewring.

There were also 6-1 wins for Dobsons at home to British Legion and White Hart 'A' at the Liberal Club with London 4-3 winners at home to the Sports Club.

After Tuesday's matches there is no change at the top of the league table as all the leading teams were 8-1 winners.

Top of the table British Legion were winners against Stable Lads, second placed Rally Club who have their bye next Tuesday won at the Highwayman and third placed Dobsons were home winners against White Hart 'B'.

The only other result reported this week was a much closer match with Dube's Marquee Club winning 5-4 in their visit to White Hart 'A'.

In a match that was described as a lot closer than the scoreline suggests with only two weeks of league matches left, Cheesewring A virtually assured themselves of the league championship with a 10-1 win at home to the Highwayman.

Second placed British Legion B suffered a setback when they were beaten 6-5 by their A team, the B team were leading 4-1 after the trebles and doubles but the A team won five of the singles to secure their victory and this week they had Steve Stevens hitting the treble 20s and scoring a 180 after Jan had showed him the way to do it last week.

Improving on last week's display was Bill Billing of Sports Club who as well as being in a winning trebles and doubles, he also won his singles to help Sports Club to beat White Hart B 7-4. Also winning 7-4 were Dobsons at home to Halfway and at the Liberal Club visitors Market only won two singles when they were beaten 9-2.
