The leagues top two Tavistock Hotel and Callington SC met at Callington. and after the team games Tavy led 2-1. They then took five singles through Pauline Courtis, Jean Jacob, Molly Bickell, Caroline Hammond and Sue Helcoop to secure victory. Social Club took just two through Jayne Morris and Wendy Lloyd to go down 7-3. Tav now go 12 points clear the top.
Union Inn played host to Bulls Head and after a bad run they returned to form with a bang winning 8-2. Union led 2-1 after the team games and then took six singles through Stella Irish, Wendy Rawlinson, Brenda Pethick, Sarah Langsford, Claire Robins and Annie Anderson. Bulls lone single win came when Sharon Rayner beat Barbara Maddock 2-0.
