Bottom team Stoke Climsland SC B entertained league champions Tavistock Hotel and found themselves trailing 2-1 as Tavy took four singles through Lorrainne Chesworth, Sue Helcoop, Sheila Liddicott and Molly Bickell. Stoke won three singles through Carmen Warne, Sue Hall and Pauline Chapman to just go down 6-4, but in doing so helping their Handicap League chances.
Another side after Handicap honours, Gunnislake SC A, visited Callington CC. Cricket Club started well, taking the team games 2-1. They then took three singles through Mary Borlase, Elise Abbott and Denise Hughes. Gunny took four through Pam Southcott, Tamson Pengelly, Margaret Stidwell and Pat Davis for a five-all draw. It means they go level at the top with Stoke Climsland SC B.
Callington SC played host to neighbours Bulls Head and led 2-1 after the team games. They then took five singles through Theresa Parr, Phyl Freeman, Jayne Morris, Sharon Bell and Wendy Lloyd. Bulls took just two through Sharon Rayner and Hayley Gillett to go down 7-3.
Coryton Arms had Union Inn as their visitors Coryton led 2-1 after the team games and then took three singles through Lindsay Nicholls, Tania Bradford and Amanda Martin. Union took four singles through Sarah Langsford, Claire Robins, Wendy Rawlinson and Brenda Pethick for a deserved five-all draw.
