Callington CC entertained neighbours Callington SC in a local derby the visitors started well taking the team games 2-1, they then took the first single through Nicky McCabe to go 3-1 up. But Cricket Club fought back taking the next three singles through Jean Wills, Maureen Wyatt and Jo Hughes to take the lead 4-3 but Social Club came back again taking the remaining three singles through Jayne Morris, Phyl Freeman and Wendy Lloyd for a 6-4 victory.

Union Inn had Stoke Climsland SC B as their visitors they started really well taking all three team games they then took four singles through Wendy Rawlinson, Claire Robins, Barbara Maddock and Annie Anderson. Stoke fought back taking three singles through Pauline Chapman, Sandie Palmer and Barbara Sleep to go down 7-3.

Coryton Arms played host to league leaders Tavistock Hotel, the visitors took the team games 2-1 and then six singles through Jean Jacob, Sheila Glanville, Sheila Liddicott, Sue Helcoop, Pauline Courtis and vicky Gale. Coryton took just one when Tania Bradford beat Lorraine Chesworth 2-0 but her team lost 8-2.

Stoke Climsland SC A had Gunnislake SC A as their visitors, Stoke took the team games 2-1 and then four singles through Lyn Coumbe, Bridie Craven, Caroline Smith and Stacey Hancock. Gunny took three through Margeret Stidwell, Pam Southcott and Pat Davis to go down 6-4.
