A CELEBRATION is taking place this morning for a business which has been sold after 17 years of trading. Jonathan and Margaret Williamson, who own the Dairy Centre in Russell Street, Liskeard, have sold their business to employee Christian Penrose. This is because they are taking retirement from the business they started in 1989. An open day has been planned for this morning where customers and members of the public have been invited to celebrate the business success and changing of hands with a mince pie and cup of tea. Mr Penrose, who takes over the business, started working for the Dairy Centre around 12 years ago before moving to an agricultural merchants in St Austell. He plans to move the store to Bugle with three members of staff following.
