TWO cyclists have completed a 100-mile trek along the Westcountry coastline in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Kathy Pearce, from Liskeard, and Sally Bickle, of Bude, started their ride in Plymouth before tracing the course of former railways, across viaducts, through tunnels and across Dartmoor and the North Devon estuaries, finishing in Ilfracombe.  After the event, Kathy said: 'We had a fantastic weekend doing something really different and we met some lovely people. We personally achieved new goals and all while helping someone somewhere battling against cancer. I lost my dad to cancer so I took part in this challenge in his memory and I know he would have been proud of both myself and Sally for raising £1,654.55. 'We would like to thank all our friends, relatives and colleagues for their wonderful support with our sponsorship.' Fundraisers at Marie Curie Cancer Care are now recruiting cyclists for the Great Cycle 500 which takes place in Poland in September, 2006.  l For details, call Lynne Juleff on (01872) 260500.
