Electric power tools valued at £7,000 were stolen from a builder's store on the Polperro Road, West Looe overnight on Wednesday, and Looe police are appealing for information from anyone who may be offered similar items for sale.
Also on Wednesday night there were two car thefts and a car was broken into which the police say are related incidents. A blue Vauxhall Astra was stolen from Portuan Road, Hannafore, and later recovered in St George's Road minus tyres, but a red RS2000 Ford Escort stolen from Kellow has still not been found. Also in the same area a red XR2 was forced open.
