Liskeard cricket club recently held the annual meetings of both the senior and junior sections. The past season had not been as successful as hoped but the club finished with a flourish by winning the Jollys complimentary cup, defeating Mylor at Hayle.

The seconds have been encouraged by the number of younger competent players that have played. Jamie Hine and Simon Terry have both qualified for the averages.

Officers - Alan Doidge (Sam) was invited to be President. Other changes were: second team captain Tim Hyslop; second vice captain, Naz Nazir. First team vice captain Adrian Vine will be assisting Dave Skews as first team captain.

In the junior section the Under-14s won the Sun Life of Canada ko cup. The indoor training was successful but regarding the outdoor nets the club had difficulty in getting a regular coach.
