Newquay were victorious by eight wickets in another high-scoring game against Boconnoc. Boconnoc scored the healthy total of 210-7 as Michael Blake hit 99 off 118 balls, including two sixes and 14 fours.

In reply, Newquay rompled home on 216-2 as Ian Tym (93 not out) and Rob Harrison (71 no out) shared an unbeaten wicket partnership of 148. Tym hit 12 fours and two sixes in his innings as Ian Rouse took 2-50 for Boconnoc.
