Luckett continued their good start to the season when they defeated Tideford by 84 runs.
In Luckett's innings of 262-7, eight of the batsmen used all got into double figures. These were Robin Gold 61 (nine fours and one six), Steve Gold 46 (four fours and two sixes), Steve Garland 55 not out (six fours), Darren Piper 19, Chris Gair 16, Sam Roberts 13, Tom Bolitho 13, 3-56, D Halland 2-39 and R Holland 1-30.
In reply, Tideford made the useful score of 178-8. Most of these runs were scored by Burn 45 (four fours and one six), S Horner 36, D Shaw 28, R Holland 13 and P Luff 12. Wicket takers for Luckett were Dave Colwiel 2-44, Roger Berry 2-30 and Steve Garland 1-10.
