Luckett II v St Lawrences Hospital
Luckett's winning start to this season came to a halt when they were defeated by five wickets by St Lawrences Hospital. In Luckett's total of 178, Jon Bolitho was once again in good form, scoring 61 with nine fours and one six in his innings. Other double figure scorers were Darren Piper with 29, Paul Ingerson 23, Chris Gair 10 and Dave Colwill no 13. Wicket takers for St Lawrences were J J Cartheur with 1-40, R Arnold 2-37, D Mitchell 1-48 and S Burden with 6-26.
In reply, St Lawrences knocked off the runs for the last five wickets, with JJ Cartheur top-scoring with 80, S Burden getting 31, R Arnold with 12, N Ahean no 21 and D Mitchell no 11. The wicket takers for Luckett were Dave Colwill with 2-50, Tom Bolitho 1-46 and Adrian Robins 1-28.
