Torpoint v St Austell
Eager to atone for defeat the previous day, Torpoint won the all important toss. Skipper Radley put St Austell into bat on an unpredictable wicket. Digger Harding, with increasing pace and accuracy, ably assisted by the spin of Freestone knocked over the Saints' batsmen for a total of 86.
Murray, with a lightening reflex run-out, and handspring to celebrate deserve a mention. Chasing only 86 Davis (16) and Nobes (21), Fever (14) and Freestone (23 not out) easily attained the runs required to win the match comfortably to put Torpoint back on a roll! They will be pushing all the way to line.
