Cricket- County Division Seven East
Liskeard II v St Austell IV
For the second day running Liskeard lost the toss and were ordered to field in the red hot sunshine.
Marchant and Gilliat contained the Saints well with good opening spells but Ohara and Weeks soon took advantage of Liskeards double bowling change. Once the aches and pains of the previous day had worn off Rylatt and Taylor struck with a couple of quick wickets. Ohara then chanced a quick single to Taylors glass arm and watched in horror as a direct hit sent him back to the pavilion for 49. Saints never recovered and finished all out for 122.
With the majority of Liskeards top order reaching double figures and a hard hitting 40no from Brendon Pritchard the home side cruised past the winning post with 15 overs to spare.
