Liskeard v Stoke Climsland
Another day same teams different venue. Liskeard again won the toss and elected to bat first again. As the previous day they found themselves in trouble. Stoke Climsland bowled tightly, but the resistance of the home sides' batsmen was not of the standard expected with only Kevin Clue reaching double figures with 24. Liskeard's final total was a meagre 80 all out.
Stoke started well and put on 33 for the first wicket when Maunder was bowled for 23. Hodge joined Cambert and took the score to 67 when Hyslop had Hodge caught behind for 18. Liskeard then took another three wickets but it was too little, too late, with Stoke reaching their target with a loss of five wickets.
This was a weekend which Liskeard will want to forget.
