Cricket- County Division Four (East)
Lanhydrock v Liskeard
Lanhydrock won the toss and decided to bat. On a wicket with not a lot of help for the bowlers they put on 51 for the first wicket when Chris Crabb took two wickets in the same over. A good 10 over spell from Tim Hyslop kept the run rate down. A solid knock from the opener Harris (61) was the backbone of the home sides innings plus a good seventh wicket stand between Fisher and Austin took the total to 170 for 7.
Liskeard's innings got off to a steady start with Rowe and Hyslop putting on 57 until Rowe was out for 30,. Skipper Skews came and went quite quickly which brought the inform White to the crease. He began to play his shots right away. Hyslop went for 30, Adrian Vince hit a quick 16 but Kettles and White saw the visitors to their target of 172 for 5 - White ending 60 not out for another match winning innings.
