Cornwall commence their Minor Counties Championship campaign next Sunday and Monday (23rd/24th May) they play host to Wales at Truro. The county will be looking for a repeat of last year's game at Swansea which saw a victory in a Grade game. Next week's match is the normal, two innings affair.

Cornwall go into the game in good heart following their 37 run win at Sherbourne on Sunday against Dorset in the MCC Trophy, which maintains the chance of topping the group. Nick George of St Buryan came into the game at Dorset in place of Charlie Shreck but Shreck returns for the Championship game at Truro.The team is: Gary Thomas (Captain), Steve Williams, Amir Abbassi, John Kent, Barry Purchase, Tom Sharp, Paul Lello, Carl Gazzard (wk.), Justin Stephens, Charlie Shreck and David Angove. Nick George is 12th man. Play begins on both days at 11.00 am.
