MORE than 40 stalls took part in the 15th Annual Craft Fair at Saltash Wesley Church last Saturday, opened by the Mayor of Saltash, Sue Hooper. Goods on sale ranged from wood turning, needlework, homemade cards, paintings, wooden toys, jewellery, knitted goods and paper craft. There was a model railway layout to amuse the children and refreshments were served all day. Proceeds of the days were for the Sebgwena Hospital in Sierra Leone. Saltash Wesley Church has already raised £4,000 to buy and fit out a container for the hospital and they need another £1,000. The container, which includes items for the hospital, can be used as a room when empty. Two blood analysers worth £13,000 each have been donated by the NHS will go in the container for the hospital. During the fair, Chloe Curnow presented a gift to the mayor from the Wesley Church.
