On Saturday and Sunday November 5 and 6, the annual winter craft fair will return to the National Trust’s Tudor house at Cotehele.
The weekend is free to all. Hand-made ceramics, jewellery, textiles, Cornish children’s books and upcycled crafts using salvaged Cornish goodies are some of the items that will be for sale from 11am to 4pm in the grounds.
Helen Eynon, Cotehele’s retail manager, said: ‘The winter craft fair has become an annual tradition and the amount of interest from many high quality artisans has been amazing. This year there will be more than 20 local artists and craft makers, including returning artists and some new ones. We’re fortunate to be able to share their work in this way.’
Craft fair visitors will be able to get a sneak preview of this year’s special 60th anniversary Christmas flower garland. Cotehele’s garden team will be building the 60ft garland in the Hall of the House and you are welcome to watch them at work.
