The Cornwall County Darts Association held the concluding rounds of the Open Youth Championship, at the Mount Charles Social Club, St Austell.
It was disappointing that only 15 competitors out of an original entry of 26 turned up for this County Youth Final. However the evening produced many fine games of darts with the Final between Wayne Hutchings of Liskeard and Mike Pascoe from Truro, with Wayne proving a worthy winner by two legs to nil.

Final - Wayne Hutchings bt Mike Pascoe by 2-0.
During the evening a total of 58 scores of 100 or over were recorded, with Wayne Hutchings (Liskeard) scoring 10 tons, a 125 and 2 x 140. Mike Pascoe of Truro scored six tons, a 125, a 137 and a 140.
Mr Peter Mutton, Dobwalls, the CCDA President, presented the Championship Cup and Individual Trophy to Wayne Hutchings of Liskeard and the runners-up cup and Individual Trophy to Mike Pascoe of Truro.
The losing semi-finalists, Peter James of St Austell and Chris Wooding of St Austell also received Individual Trophies, with all competitors from the Quarter final stage receiving Certificates. The "Leading Lady" Trophy was won by Sadie Collins of Camborne.
MC for the evening was Mr Mike James, Bugle, Vice Chairman of the Cornwall County Darts Association.
