A wheelchair accessible arts and crafts gallery has opened in the historic farmyard area behind the Barn restaurant, shop and plant centre at Cotehele.

The Bull Pen Gallery will exhibit the work of local artists and craftspeople in a wheelchair accessible building and will serve as a location for a series of ‘meet the artist’ events.

The building has been transformed into a light and bright gallery space for showcasing multimedia work of local artists including paintings, sculpture, jewellery, homeware and more.

Richard Burrow, Visitor Experience Manager at Cotehele said: ‘With the gallery moving to its new home in the Bull Pen Gallery, we will be able to continue giving supporters the chance to purchase and be inspired by local artwork, whilst ensuring the gallery is now fully accessible to all.
