A band whose music embraces rock, folk, electronica, jazz and alt-pop will be bringing their original sound to the Tamar Valley on Friday.

The Little Unsaid are fronted by songwriter John Elliott but all the band’s members are accomplished performers in their own right.

Fresh from a tour of Europe, the group’s live show is said to recall the intensity and melancholy of artist such as Nick Cave and Learnord Cohen but with their own take and a ‘thumping depth of passion’.

Radio 2’s Bob Harris said: ‘Extraordinary music - this is an amazing act.’

The Little Unsaid will be at Calstock Arts on Friday (May 17)- doors open 7pm.
