Work on the track

to disrupt services

FIRST Great Western customers travelling between Cornwall and London during the next two weekends will have their journeys affected by essential engineering work being carried out by Railtrack.

Services will be affected on January 19/20 and January 26/27 because of Railtrack engineering work between Castle Cary and Exeter.

On the Saturdays most services between Cornwall and Paddington will start from, or terminate, at Castle Cary or Weston-super-Mare. Road transport will be provided between these stations and Taunton.

On the Sundays most services will be diverted by an alternative route, adding around an hour to the normal journey time.
