HUNDREDS of lives could be saved on the South East Cornwall coast thanks to new emergency medical equipment.
Fourteen new public access defibrillators are being installed this summer at key locations in the Looe area for use in sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) incidents.
The project to buy the new defibrillators was launched 12 months ago.
