Unfortunately many of our staff have been prevented from getting to Liskeard because of the icy and snowy conditions on side roads in South East Cornwall today. Fortunately, however, the latest edition of the Cornish Times has made it to the shops and is on sale now as usual.
Although main roads in the area and roads through the town are passable with care, many side roads, lay-bys, pavements and Liskeard’s main Westbourne carpark are very icy and must be approached with care by motorists and pedestrians.
Reader Hannah Crabb too this snowy winter’s scene of our Webb’s House offices and the icy pavements around it this morning, although some early spring blooms in the raised flowerbeds seem to be keeping their colour despite the chill.
The Cornish Times offices will be open as usual on Monday.
