Bodmin commemorates the 520th anniversary of the execution of Bodmin lawyer, Thomas Flamank, tomorrow.

Flamank was a leader of the Cornish Rebellion of 1497.

People will assemble by the Thomas Flamank Stone in Fore St at 7pm, then join a footpath procession to the Flamank Plaque at Town Wall where prayers will be said and wreaths laid. There will be speeches by invited guests.

After the commemoration there will be an evening of Cornish story-telling and singing in the Masons pub where 50 pasties have been arranged.
