High drama at St Cleer where visiting Torpoint having led 3-1 with 20 minutes left lost 4-3.
Nick Day gave Torpoint the early advantage and although a long shot from Saints Dave Moon levelled the scores Torpoint went on to lead 3-1.
Derek Cox converted a Dave Milford cross for the second and then the same player added the third when he cottoned onto a Jamie Taylor put through and lobbed keeper Barry Collins.
Collins bravely blocked attempts from Steve Todd and Milford as Torpoint looked good for three points but with 20 minutes left Lee Maddock lifted Saints with his side's second goal.
Tensions threatened to bubble over as the tackles flew in but St Cleer now had the bit between their teeth and Chris Pethick equalised from a Mark Hocking corner. In injury time St Cleer capped a remarkable recovery when Mark Loton beat Steve Reed for their winner.
With manager Dave Young unavailable his stand in Andy Pethick was naturally delighted. St Cleer have not enjoyed the best of fortune in recent games but for once it went their way.
