Liskeard Athletic manager Leigh Cooper is attempting to sign Falmouth Town pair Neil Slateford and Adam Trudgian in time for the Blues' trip to Torpoint Athletic (2.15 pm).

Cooper awaits news on the three players who all received bad knocks in the Boxing Day derby against Saltash, but he is not too hopeful about their chances.

Mike Burke (knee), Jason King (achilles) and Matt Godfree (ankle) are all rated extremely doubtful, while Bradley Richardson still has one game of his three-match ban to serve.

Cooper does have central defender Sam Chitty returning from suspension, but he will be looking to his second team if the late fitness tests and signings do not go his way.

Torpoint will be without central defender Virgil Igalawuye, who is serving the second of a three-match ban, and Paul Partiridge (work) for the game.
