People can learn about controversial proposals to transform health and care in Cornwall at the Caradon Community Network Panel meeting on January 26.

Representatives from leading health and social care organisations will brief the panel on the draft Sustainability and Transformation Plan, a five-year plan to improve local health and well-being, the quality of services and financial stability. There will be an opportunity to discuss the draft plans, share views and help shape the proposals. Full details on the proposals and engagement opportunities are available at www.cornwall.gov.uk/shapethefuture

The panel will also consider applications for the Local Devolution Fund, which can be used to help local councils and organisations take on the running of services and property in the network area and support local partnership working.

In addition to this, the meeting will include local updates from Cornwall councillors, a chance for parishes to share their experiences of developing neighbourhood plans, an update on the Cornwall Council electoral review, and an opportunity for members of the public to speak.

Caradon Community Network Panel includes all five Cornwall Councillors for the area and representatives of the following parishes: Callington, Calstock, Linkinhorne, Pillaton, South Hill, St Dominick, St Ive, St Mellion and Stoke Climsland.

The meeting takes place from 6.30pm to 8.30pm in the Council Chamber at Callington Town Council’s offices.
