Wrecks of boats on the Saltash beach are causing concern, members of the town council heard. Caradon council is in the process of finding a solution to the various problems and the use of the pontoon. Trains or lack of trains stopping at Saltash is another on going concern, and councillors heard from a member of the public that more trains have been cut. Brian Carter proposed inviting someone from First Great Western to the council meeting in September. This was agreed.
