Liskeard In Bloom has launched a competition to name its new motorised water bowser.

The group says it would like to hear from anyone with a suggestion and would especially like an input from children.

Ideas should be sent to the group via the website, www.liskeardforum.org.uk, or on Facebook.

More than 60 hanging baskets, windowboxes and growing bags have so far been sold to shops and other businesses in the town centre, in the area covering the Parade, Barras Street, Dean Street, Windsor Place and Bay Tree Hill.
