Following on from The Colander Girls revealing all in their charity calendar, they are delighted that they have raised £1,228 for the Mermaid Centre at RCHT!

Staff from the Health Records team at St Michael’s Hospital, inspired by the film Calendar Girls, decided to produce this charity calendar last year and are over the moon by the support that they have received.

Jennifer Philp, who initiated the idea and thought up each of the calendar shots, said: ’I just want to thank all of the girls who appeared in the calendar with me, our wonderful photographer, Catherine Henwood and especially BJ Press Ltd in Truro.

’One person I forgot to thank is Colin, the stainless steel colander; he saw sights that day that no other colander should ever have to see!’

Sarah Zee, Clinical Nurse Specialist / Team Leader at the Mermaid Centre was thrilled with the amount the calendars have raised and was so grateful to all those involved with it.

’We just want to thank all the ladies in the Health Records team at St Michael’s Hospital; Jenny, Clare, Tracy, Jade, Rachel, Debbie, Grace, Helen, Georgie and Claire.’
