Members of Extinction Rebellion South East Cornwall Group are claiming the Government is still dragging its heels when it comes to tackling the environmental crisis.
Protestors will gather in Victoria Gardens at the top of Fore Street, Saltash, at 10.30am. They will walk down Fore Street and stand together to read out their Declaration of Rebellion, nailing it to a representation of the door to number ten, Downing Street, which will then be delivered to the Town’s Mayor, Gloria Challen, at Saltash Guildhall (Lower Fore Street).
A protest and declaration will also take place on the Parade, Liskeard, outside the offices of Sheryll Murray, MP for South East Cornwall, from 1pm.
