A CLICK and collect service is in place at Cornwall’s libraries.

Members can browse online, order books and collect their choice from the lobby or entrance of their local library.

People can also return books they might have had for many weeks, and no fees will be charged on late returns until September 30.

Returned books will be quarantined for a period to ensure they are safe to touch, and the borrowing and return protocols will mean safe hand contact between staff and customers.

Online reading in the form of eBooks, audiobooks, newspapers and magazines, comics and eGraphic novels will continue to be available via the online library.

Libraries will not yet be open fully for members to come in and browse shelves. Those who use the Information Service for payments and council enquiries should continue to use Paypoint facilities, online and telephone options that have been in place over the last three months, as the Information Service will remain closed for the time being.
