AN accounts manager at the Liskeard branch of Lloyds TSB recently ran the Plymouth Half Marathon – her first race – in two hours and 17 minutes and raised £1,160 for charity. Claire Drysdale was running in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care and Breast Cancer with the support of family, friends, colleagues and customers who sponsored her. The bank's Matched Giving Scheme for staff had doubled the £580 Claire raised allowing each of her chosen charities to benefit by £880. Claire was accompanied on the run by her sister- in-law Liz Drysdale, who raised £274 for Mustard Seed Relief Missions. Liz works at Lloyds TSB in the Plymouth regional securities centre.
