METHODIST minister Mark Pengelly and the Rev Chloe Jones are pictured admiring a sparkling Christmas tree decorated by Maria Kennedy-Head and her family.

The tree is one of almost 50 making a spectacular and deliciously scented display inside Liskeard Wesley Methodist Church and its upper gallery.

People from Morley Tamblyn Lodge day centre have made decorations for their tree in the festival.

Local businesses, groups, charities and individuals have chosen their own themes for each tree, and the Kennedy-Heads’ creation is named ‘Sending Love to Heaven’.

The Christmas Tree Festival and Nativity will be open daily from 10am to 12.30pm until Saturday, December 23.
