STALLHOLDERS at Liskeard's popular monthly Farmers' Market, are getting into Christmas mode and are preparing goods ready for the festive season. At tomorrow's market, Saturday, November 6, in the usual venue at the Keep Fit Hall, near the cattle market from 9am-12pm, you will be able to buy a new range of pickles ready for the table, as well as local honey, eggs and cakes. This is in addition to the excellent range of locally grown seasonal organic vegetables, as well as organic meats and pies. At this market there will be a special display of furniture and small items made by Jeff Barrett, a local cabinet maker and wood turner. There will also be gift ideas from the makers of hand crafted jewellry, ceramics and cards. Customers have only one market to go after this one, Saturday, December 4, to make sure of supporting their local producers.
